C\u2019est ce que montre cette Energy Story.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Le photovolta\u00efque est omnipr\u00e9sent : de la microcentrale sur son balcon au gigantesque parc solaire en passant par l\u2019installation de 10 kWc sur le toit de sa maison individuelle, l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire n\u2019est plus r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux \u00ab \u00e9colos \u00bb. Que ce soit en Europe centrale, en Australie ou dans les contr\u00e9es recul\u00e9es d\u2019Afrique : presque plus personne ne s\u2019interroge sur le bien-fond\u00e9 de la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019installations photovolta\u00efques dans ces r\u00e9gions du monde. Mais qu\u2019en est-il du cercle polaire ? Le photovolta\u00efque peut-il aussi \u00eatre rentable dans ces pays ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00ab&nbsp;Le lieu qui ne d\u00e9g\u00e8le jamais&nbsp;\u00bb<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette question, regardons du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de Grise Fiord. Cette communaut\u00e9 du territoire canadien du Nunavut abrite 135 personnes et est l\u2019une des r\u00e9gions habit\u00e9es les plus froides du monde. Connue comme \u00ab le lieu qui ne d\u00e9g\u00e8le jamais \u00bb, la localit\u00e9 d\u00e9pendait \u00e0 100 % de centrales diesel pour sa production d\u2019\u00e9nergie avant la construction d\u2019une installation photovolta\u00efque de 10 kWc. En outre, le prix du carburant n\u00e9cessaire est doubl\u00e9 par son transport \u00e0 travers l\u2019Atlantique Nord, ce qui rendait jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent l\u2019approvisionnement en \u00e9nergie de Grise Fiord co\u00fbteux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"525\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fronius.com\/solar-energy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/se-blog-foird-bild-1-1024x525.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.fronius.com\/solar-energy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/se-blog-foird-bild-1-1024x525.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.fronius.com\/solar-energy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/se-blog-foird-bild-1-300x154.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.fronius.com\/solar-energy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/se-blog-foird-bild-1-768x394.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.fronius.com\/solar-energy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/se-blog-foird-bild-1.jpg 1170w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">La mer au large de Grise Fiord est prise par les glaces neuf mois par an.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais le transport co\u00fbteux du combustible n\u2019\u00e9tait pas le seul probl\u00e8me : avec une temp\u00e9rature moyenne annuelle d\u2019environ -16 \u00b0C, les eaux autour de Grise Fiord sont gel\u00e9es en permanence pendant pr\u00e8s de neuf mois. Pendant cette p\u00e9riode, la communaut\u00e9 n\u2019est pas accessible par la mer. Le maire Meeka&nbsp;Kigutak explique&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Notre centre communautaire n\u2019est pas seulement un b\u00e2timent officiel, mais le centre de notre vie sociale et culturelle ici \u00e0 Grise&nbsp;Fiord. L\u2019installation photovolta\u00efque est donc un investissement incroyablement important pour notre communaut\u00e9&nbsp;: premi\u00e8rement, parce qu\u2019elle nous apporte une plus grande ind\u00e9pendance \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et deuxi\u00e8mement, parce qu\u2019elle nous permet d\u2019\u00e9conomiser des frais de diesel. Cet argent profite d\u00e9sormais durablement \u00e0 notre population<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Production d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire non-stop<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019installation photovolta\u00efque produit pr\u00e8s de 10 000 kWh par an et r\u00e9duit ainsi de mani\u00e8re significative la d\u00e9pendance de la communaut\u00e9 au diesel co\u00fbteux. Bien que le transport de toutes les pi\u00e8ces n\u00e9cessaires par voie maritime ait au moins doubl\u00e9 le co\u00fbt de l\u2019installation photovolta\u00efque, la p\u00e9riode d\u2019amortissement n\u2019est que de six ans. La raison en est l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 impressionnante pendant les mois d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9. En effet, sur une p\u00e9riode d\u2019environ deux mois, le soleil ne se couche pas \u00e0 Grise Fiord. Le froid ambiant n\u2019a pas d\u2019incidence sur l\u2019installation photovolta\u00efque.
